Privacy policy
Your jokes are yours. Here is exactly what we store, why, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect
- Account data — email address and authentication identifiers, handled by our authentication provider.
- Profile and Comedy DNA — the answers, ratings and preferences you enter during onboarding and assessments.
- Material you create — premises, jokes, set notes, chat messages with your alter ego, saved clips and reactions.
- Membership data — subscription status and purchase records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Technical data — standard server logs and error reports needed to keep the site running.
Why we collect it
To run your account, unlock the course you paid for, personalise the AI coaching to your voice, and fix things when they break. We do not sell your data, and we do not sell your material.
AI processing
When you use the LOL Engine, the DNA Lab or your alter ego, the text you submit plus a summary of your Comedy DNA is sent to a third-party model provider to generate a response. We are provider-independent and may change providers. We do not submit your material for model training.
Who else touches your data
- Database, authentication and hosting infrastructure.
- Payment processing for subscriptions and one-time purchases.
- AI model providers, for the requests you explicitly trigger.
- Embedded video (YouTube) on study pages, which sets its own cookies when played.
Cookies and tracking
We set necessary cookies for sign-in and functional storage for your theme preference. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will list them here and ask for consent where required.
Retention and your rights
We keep your material until you delete it or close your account. You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time. Rights vary by jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA); we honour access and deletion requests regardless of where you live.
Children
FUNNYAF is intended for adults. Comedy material on this site is uncensored and not suitable for under-18s.

We will update this page when our practices change and move the "last updated" date.
