Your persona isn't a character you invent. It's the version of you the room can read in eleven seconds.

Persona is not a costume. It's the answer to one question the audience asks before you finish your first sentence: who is this person, and what is their deal? They will answer it with or without your help. If you don't decide, they'll decide, and they usually decide 'nervous guy in a hoodie who might apologize.'
