Build Material: From Premise to Five Minutes
A joke is a sentence that earns a laugh. A bit is three jokes that earn a thought. A five-minute chunk is five bits that prove a point of view.
Nobody writes a special. People write jokes, stack them into bits, string bits into chunks, and eventually notice the chunks all agree about the world. The panic most beginners feel — 'I need an hour' — comes from looking at the wrong container. You do not need an hour. You need one premise that makes you angry, one punch that breaks it, and the discipline to keep going.
