Delivery is not your personality with a microphone. Delivery is a set of choices that translate a written line into a lived moment. The audience decides in the first three seconds whether you are confident, nervous, above them, below them, or beside them, and that decision determines how every joke lands. You cannot fix a bad joke with delivery, but you can murder a good one with the wrong choices.
