Rebel

The curated comedic identity a performer projects onstage to filter reality and deliver punchlines through a distinct worldview.

The exaggerated, performative version of an artist's self-concept engineered to command attention and establish immediate audience expectations.

A stage identity built on genuine personal vulnerabilities, lived experiences, and honest neuroses without heavy theatrical distortion.

A comedic technique where a performer isolates one real personality trait and turns the volume up to ten.

A distinct fictional entity with specific behaviors, motives, and worldviews designed to generate comedy through committed action.

The rigid, highly specific lens through which a fictional comedic figure interprets every event, person, and conflict.

The burning, usually trivial objective that relentlessly propels a comedic figure into terrible decisions and escalating conflict.

The specific moral, emotional, or intellectual defect that constantly sabotages a figure's success and generates organic comedy.

The glaring personal defect everyone in the room clearly sees except the blissfully ignorant person possessing it.

The combustible gap between who a person claims to be and how they actually behave under pressure.

A disproportionate, manic fixation on a minor detail or bizarre goal that completely overrides normal rational thought.

The twisted internal reasoning system that makes completely absurd actions feel entirely reasonable to the person acting.
